Tip of the Week:
Insert a Google Drawing to Google Docs!
You may or may not have noticed that in Google Docs there is a new feature that allows you to insert a Google Drawing into the Google Doc. Google announced this change on January 7th, 2019. In the past, you would need to use the Google Drawing feature from Google Docs, which was not only limited, but you could not change the image in Google Drawings. To insert a Google Drawing into Google Docs: Go to Google Docs- Insert- then select +New (to create a new Google Drawing) or From Drive (to select an existing Drawing). See below!

The benefit of this feature:

"Instead of having to create drawings manually in a document, you can embed drawings from Drive in a document and refresh the content to keep it current. When you embed a drawing, the drawing is placed in the document but linked to the original in Google Drawings. By using the “Update” button, you can update the drawing’s content with one click if changes are made to the source file. You can also choose to unlink drawings at a later date"(from "What's New G Suite").

Here is a short tutorial to show you how it works!
