Technology Tool of the Week:

Is it difficult for your students to think of something to write about? Are they having trouble getting motivated to write? Write about is an online collection of images and writing prompts for students to get inspired to write and share! (This website does have a paid subscription, but you can have up to 40 students using Write About for free). See the video below:

I believe most of you are familiar with TED talks? TED Ed was created to gather up great lessons from teacher all around the world and animate them to share. Please see the below movie about TED Ed... 


 Schools all over the world will be participating in "Hour of Code". I will be sending out links in next Tuesday Tech Tidbits for websites that your students can try coding and be part of the awareness of coding for all students! 

"The Hour of Code takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week. The 2016 Computer Science Education Week will be December 5-11, but you can host an Hour of Code all year round. Computer Science Education Week is held annually in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hopper (December 9, 1906)" (
