Google Drive- Back to Basics
Recently, I gave a presentation on Google Drive. I realized that sometimes it is best to rewind, slow down a little, and get everyone on the same level of understanding.
This week, I wanted to highlight some of the points from the presentation that I thought you may not know or could use clarification on (regarding Google Drive). I will also share with you the presentation (for those that attended, as a refresher) and for those of you who need a little support with understanding Google Drive more thoroughly.
Did you know that in "My Drive" there is only one owner of a Doc? If you shared it with someone and you delete it, it will be deleted for all people it is shared with.
That is why we now have Team Drive. Team Drive allows for multiple owners.
Uploading Files to Drive: Convert to Google Docs or KEEP as is? Did you know that in Drive- under the "Settings" tab (wheel icon), you can check to covert uploads or not convert them?
