Tip of the Week: Google Forms- Go to Section Based on Answer
Recently I was working on Google Forms, and discovered a handy feature that allows you to add a specific section to an answer. This feature only appears when you are using Multiple Choice or Drop Down type of questions.
The below directions come from Google Docs Help Forum:
- Open a form in Google Forms.
- Click Add
.
- Click Multiple choice or Dropdown.
- Type your question.
- On the right of the question, click More
.
- Click Go to section based on answer.
- You can also choose Submit form if you want the survey to end based on an answer.
- Choose specific sections to send people to.
In case you want the respondents to skip sections of a Form, you can take the below steps:
- Open a form in Google Forms.
- To add a section break, click Add section
.
- At the bottom of each section, you can choose which section people go to next.
