Tip of the Week: Shortcuts for a Chromebook to Enlarge the Page Text and Search/Bookmarks Bar!
You may have noticed I have started distributing chromebooks to teachers yesterday! This will continue this week and into next week. My goal is share chromebook related tidbits with you as you adjust to the new devices.
Have you ever wondered how to make the text larger on page or the Bookmarks Bar on a chromebook? Many of you may be familiar with the shortcut CNTRL + (this will enlarge the screen only. The bookmarks and search bar will still be the same size). CNTRL - will make the screen smaller. Another shortcut that is helpful is CNTRL 0 (this will reset the screen to 100%).
Shortcut to enlarge BOTH the page and Search/Bookmarks Bar:
CNTRL SHIFT + (This combination enlarges BOTH the top and page of the screen).
CNTRL SHIFT - (This will reduce the text on both the top and page of the screen).
CNTRL SHIFT 0 ( This will reset both to 100%)
Here is what it looks like!
