Tip of the Week: Aww App (a free, online, white board)!
My goal for the Tidbits over the next school year, is to share Chromebook specific apps/extensions that you may find useful in your classroom as we move to Chromebooks for Teachers. This week, I wanted to share Aww App (a free, online, whiteboard application).
To get to the white board, go to https://awwapp.com.
Aww app has the below tool bar with the following features:
Move Tool
Rotate
Choose Color (text, shapes, etc)
Drawing Tool (the small arrow will offer a Marker, Arrows, Lines, and thickness adjustment)
Eraser tool (Element Eraser, Cut, and Remove Image, also Eraser Size)
Draw Shapes (Rectangle Outline or fill, Ellipse outline or fill, Line size)
Text tool
Post-it Note
Upload Image (.pdf, .jpeg, .ppt, or URL)
Aww App would be a great tool for annotation, writing notes, drawing examples, etc. This would be a great tool to use with a touch screen chromebook!
The below image I created on Aww App and exported as an image. You can save the work you create to share on your Google Classroom or with students that may not be there that day!
**There are additional features if you purchase the "Pro" upgrade (such as the ability for multiple people to collaborate on one board).
