Tip of the Week: Google Sheets- Break out a Single Value!Using Google Sheets, you can now "break out" a single value using "Pie Slice- Distance from Center"!In today's data driven climate, I feel that this is a great addition to Google Sheets! I know as a Technology Coordinator that oversees the 1:1 Chromebook program for over 1,000 students, data is really important! I use many Google Forms for chromebook repair, website changes, etc. I connect the data to Google Sheets from the Forms. When I share the statistics to our technology department with Google Sheets, this will be useful to highlight what I want to show. To use this feature, you first need to add data on a Google Sheet and then insert a pie chart. You can do this by using the "Explore" feature in the lower right side of the Google Sheet, or using "Insert- Chart". Once you have inserted the chart, you can go into "Customize- Pie Slice (pick the category you want to pull out)- then "Distance from Center").(The below infographic is taken from https://gsuiteupdates.googleblog.com/ "Break out a single value within a pie Chart in Google Sheets", January 8, 2020).
