Tip of the Month: Pics4Learning!
Teachers give students a variety of assignments that may require students to include images. We want our students to be aware of copyright law and how to find images online that are labeled for reuse. It is also good practice for students to cite images they use for projects. This is where Pics4Learning comes into play!
Pics4Learning is free to use in and educational setting and includes copyright-friendly images that can be downloaded. The images also include the citation information, making it easy for student to give credit to the artist/owner of the image.
When you search in Pics4Learning, and open an image, you will see something similar to this;
You can choose to "download the image" which will download it into the "files" folder on a chromebook or on your hard drive of your computer. You can also choose to "Save to Google Drive".
You can use the citation information provided that you see in the image above.
Thanks for reading!
