Tip of the Week: Google Meet Virtual Backgrounds!
It is hard to believe that today is Election Day! If you need any assistance locating where and when you can vote, please SEE HERE!
Google Meet has enabled virtual backgrounds!
When you go to Google Meet (meet.google.com) , after you join or start a meeting, you will now see an option to change the background. You can now select to blur the background or add a virtual background from your chromebook (or other device). You should be aware that it may slow down your connection. If you choose to add the virtual background, I suggest you close out other open windows.
Hopefully this will help you and your students feel more comfortable turning on the camera to join the virtual classes. Enjoy!
