Tuesday Tech Tidbits
January 12, 2021___________________________________________________________by Sandy BlancAs you know, our school has licensing for WeVideo, an online movie/podcast software that works on chromebooks. Recently, they released an update to allow collaboration on projects in REAL-TIME!
If students worked on a "group" project in the past with WeVideo, you would know that they could only work separately, one at a time. Now, they can all work together, similar to working collaboratively on a Google Doc.
Check out this video!
We have 100 WeVideo licenses to share. Please watch the "How to Use WeVideo" tutorial created by Jen Jonson.
I have set up 3 classes that you can book using THIS GOOGLE SHEET. I will keep this sheet on the EHS website (School Information- School Services- Staff Resources (Staff Only)- Technology Quick Links)
Please add your name, # of students, and dates you will need to create the movies. After you sign up, please email Sandy Blanc (sblanc@sau16.org) to let her know that you signed up. Once the students create the videos, I have them download them to their Google Drive and then I can reassign the licenses. We only have 3 class sets, so once the "1st Group" fills up the 3 classes, you can sign up for the 2nd Group (with the understanding that group 1 will need to be done with them to use them.
