May 04, 2021_________________________________________________________________________________- Google has updated their Classic Sites Transition date: Starting September 01, 2021 "Classic" Google Sites will no longer be available viewable by anyone
It has been a few years coming, but the deprecation of Google Sites "Classic" is nearing. I have shared information about migrating Classic Site to the New Google Sites in the past, but I wanted to bring it your attention again in case you have any "Classic" sites still out there.

Some highlights:- Starting May 2021- no websites can be created in "classic" sites
- Starting December 2021- editors can no longer edit classic sites
- Starting January 2022- website content from a classic site is no longer available.
How do I know if I have any Classic Google Sites?- To check and see if you still have "Classic Sites" go to sites.google.com.
- Click in the lower left side of the screen "Back to Classic Sites" (as you see below).
3. If you see any sites in "classic" that you do not want to loose, then please covert to new google sites.
WARNING: If you migrate a classic Site to a new Site- please use the below settings "create new address" BEFORE you publish the New Site! If you select "use existing" the classic site will be replaced by the new site.
