Technology Tip of the Week: GeoGebra
How can you leverage technology in a math classroom? It seems that there are more and more interesting math integration tools popping up online! After doing some research, I can tell you these are worth passing along to you! Some of these tools also work with Google Classroom! I hope you have time to take a look at some of these and perhaps use them for a lesson or two!
- GeoGebra -GeoGebra is an excellent resource available online for Chrome and Windows devices (or on the website) for creating models, and mathematical constructions.
- GeoGebra Classic- this is a chrome extension that can be used for graphing, geometry, 3D graphing, spreadsheets, CAS, probability, and more!
- GeoGebra Augmented Reality- This is a free app for both iPhone and iPad for demonstrating AR (Augmented Reality). If you have a dongle for your phone or iPad, you could project these images for class, or use the iPad cart to have students explore!
- GeoGebra CCSS HS Geometry Resources- I stumbled across this CCSS book of resources for Geometry! This is full of examples you could use in your classroom.
