I have been learning Canvas along with you (although many of you have a better handle on it than I do at this point!). I thought you may want to know how you can see your Canvas Calendar events on your Google Calendar.
1. Go to your Canvas class and click on "Calendar". 
2. In the right lower side of that page, select "Calendar Feed". 
3. Select the URL in the box and copy it:
4. Go to your Google Calendar (calendar.google.com )5. On the left side of Google Calendar, select "Other Calendars"
6. Then choose "From URL"- then paste the Canvas calendar URL. 
7. Lastly, make sure you have the Canvas Calendar checked to be visible in Google Calendar. 
That's it!
