Tip of the Week
: Email your students and/or their parents from PowerTeacher Pro!

For a few years I have had multiple requests asking about how to email students from PowerSchool (PowerTeacher Pro). We had the ability to do so, then we lost the ability with a version of PowerSchool we had. Now, the feature is back!

How do I email my students and/or parents from PowerTeacher Pro?

1. Sign into PowerSchool and select "PowerTeacher Pro" from the top left under "Navigation".

2. Select the class you want to email from the center drop down.

3. Select the "+" in the upper right hand side of the page and choose "Email".

4. If you want to select all students, then check the box in the left side under "Students". You can also select individual students from the list of your students you see below that check box.

5. To select all of the parents, you can click on the "Contacts" box on the opposite side of the Students check box. If you only want to select specific parents, you can also choose them individually.

6. You can "copy emails" at the bottom of the screen and paste into Gmail OR you can select the "message tab" the top to compose the email and send it.
